First of all, your friends probably don’t care how clean your place is. They’ve come to visit you.
Since you want your friends to enjoy being with you, having a super clean home may have the opposite effect.
If your place is immaculate they may start to feel bad because they are comparing yours to theirs. You want your friends to feel good, and this is a great place to start.
Keeping your place super clean isn’t good for your kids health either. They could develop more allergies as a result.
Your friends are coming to visit you because they like you, not to judge you.
If you are still worried about what they’ll think of you, place your vacuum cleaner in a prominent place.
They’ll think you got interrupted while cleaning.
2. STOP CARING WHAT OTHERS THINK OF YOU.
If you care about what others think, you’ll never get to enjoy the exhilaration of skinny dipping.
When you care too much about what others think, you’ll never enjoy being outside, head up high, wearing a yellow hat and orange sunglasses!
3. STOP WORRYING.
Yep. Stop worrying.
Worrying never helps.
Worrying never feels good.
Think about what worrying really is; worry is simply a thought about something that hasn’t happened.
Wouldn’t it feel better to imagine the best that can happen?
