If you are unhappy in your job now, imagine what you’ll feel like in 5 years.
You might be surprised to learn that I spent over a decade managing money for Girard and Mellon Bank in Philadelphia before I became a Coach and Board Certified Hypnotherapist.
If ever there was a “wrong” job for me, that was it. I hated my job.
I was unaware of the little clues that proved I wasn’t in the right place. When the Wall Street Journal was delivered to my desk every morning, I would always turn to the the most fascinating part – the middle column on the front page.
(For those of you who don’t read the Wall Street Journal, this is where you can read about all sorts of interesting stuff. Like amphibious cars, restaurants that serve bugs, even lawyers who are energy healers on the side 🙂
Another clue was the empty feeling in my stomach when I boarded the commuter train in the morning. Ugh. Another day doing the same thing. Did I mention that I hated my job? Luckily I found a way out. You can too.
You don’t have to stay stuck. When you change your thoughts and attitudes, the possibility of making positive changes increases dramatically.
Enough about me. What’s your situation?
Do you hate your job? Do you feel stuck or are you actively finding ways to move forward?
